Sola Scriptura - By Scripture Alone
Morgantown Christian Academy operates as a non-profit ministry of Faith Baptist Church. Morgantown Christian Academy exists to partner along with parents by providing a Christ-centered education through academic excellence and servant leadership to equip our students in their service for Christ. The school opened its doors in 1978 at the Richard Avenue location with two students enrolled in kindergarten. I n the years to follow, elementary grades were gradually added to accommodate the increasing student enrollment. Faith Baptist Church and Morgantown Christian Academy moved to its current location in 1995. In the fall of 2006, a high school building was added to the church campus. A temporary building was added in 2016 to accommodate the school's growth, and just recently, another temporary building was added to house the middle school. We have plans to build a gym and new classroom facility in the near future.
Morgantown Christian Academy was founded by a group of families passionate about providing Christ-centered education to their community. Classes began with just 25 students.
The school moved to a larger facility to accommodate growing enrollment, adding a gymnasium and expanded classroom space.
MCA expanded to include a full high school program, graduating its first senior class in 1999.
The Mustangs athletic program began competing in regional competitions, bringing home numerous championships.
Despite global challenges, MCA continued to thrive, implementing innovative educational approaches while maintaining our biblical foundation.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and our final authority for faith and practice.
We believe in salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, and the importance of local church fellowship.
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers.
